17.10.2022 16:37IBFF Bosnia and HerzegovinaAFTER THE VICTORY OF THE BOSNIAN COMPETITORS - THE RESIGNATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF IBFF BIH Just when I thought I had seen it all ... ???? Once again, a sad surprise ???? Yesterday Bosnian competitors (Igor Koluder and Adnan Alagić) rocked the stage with their outstanding performances at the international competition IBFF OLIMPIA AMATEUR 2022, each winning first place in their category. And this came as no surprise as they have already won titles at the biggest competitions in the IBFF federation in the past. Therefore, a reason that every country should be happy about, especially the president of the national federation. However, former president Elma Škaljić could not rejoice at the success of the BIH competitors. The reason she mentioned was "you know Dule, they are under investigation, they deal with crime, etc.". Point 1. The private lives of athletes does not concern the sports federation IBFF. Point 2. A person is guilty when he/she is finally convicted of any offense. He/she accepts the punishment according to the law, which again has nothing to do with the sports federation IBFF. Point 3. The IBFF Federation may discipline competitors, referees or presidents when they violate the IBFF Statute. Nowhere in the Statute is the impunity of individuals mentioned, therefore even possible punity does not in any way mean suspension from the IBFF. Point 4. The president of the National Federation has the task of popularizing the sports industry in his country to acquire as many competitors as possible. Elma Škaljić did the exact opposite. Due to her personal interests, she simply banned some contestants from participating in the competitions. And we are talking about two competitors who are respected international champions in the IBFF federation. Point 5. The resignation of Elma Škaljić from the position of president of IBFF BIH is accepted with great pleasure. A new president will be chosen soon. One this note, it should also be mentioned that Elma Škaljić as a competitor can participate in all IBFF competitions, our policy is quite different from hers, our doors are always open for all competitors. Point 6. Elma Škaljić mentioned that I did not follow the "rules". According to such rules, where competitors are punished for thier personal interests, no one will ever work in the IBFF federation. We try to help the competitors, we organize competitions where respect is returned to the competitors. The motto of our federation will always be ATHLETES FIRST. At the end of the sad epilogue, once again congratulations to the competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Koluder and Adnan Alagić - sincere congratulations on your well-deserved victories. All competitors from BIH will always be welcome in the IBFF federation, no one will close the door to you again, I promise as president, as a person, and above all, as an athlete. Adnan is a multiple IBFF champion ( 2nd place World 2020, 1st place World 2021, 1st place IBFF Olimpia amateur and 2nd place Pro World Cup ) and winner of a special award from the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
